Knights Make History in Valley’s First-Ever Freshman Girls Flag Football Game

The Shadow Hills High School freshman girls flag football team made history with a matchup against Valley View High School, marking what is believed to be the first-ever freshman girls flag football game in the Coachella Valley.

The milestone represents an exciting step forward for girls athletics, providing younger student-athletes with the opportunity to compete, develop their skills, and build a foundation for the future of the sport.

For the Knights, this historic game was about more than the final score. It was about opening doors, creating opportunities, and being part of something bigger than a single game.

As girls flag football continues to grow, Shadow Hills is proud to help lead the way in expanding opportunities for female student-athletes.

A historic first for the valley. A proud moment for the Knights.

Go Knights! 💜🏈
